New River Health Expands Access to Care in Sophia and Beckley
New River Health has expanded access to healthcare in southern West Virginia at Lester Square in Sophia and Sunset Drive in Beckley.“These new locations further our mission to provide compassionate, comprehensive care for individuals and families throughout our region,” said John Schultz, CEO of New River Health. “By expanding in Sophia and Beckley, we are making it easier for patients to receive quality healthcare close to home.”
Lester Square in Sophia
The Lester Square location offers family medicine, urgent care, addiction medicine, chiropractic care, women’s health and pharmacy services. Providers include Dr. Jeremiah Miller, DO, Dr. Chris Grose, DC, Trista Gibson, PA-C, Jennifer Boyd, PA-C, Crystal Cooper, FNP and Cassie Wilson, FNP.
Medical Clinic Hours:
Monday through Friday – 7 a.m. to 7 p.m.
Pharmacy Hours:
Monday through Thursday – 9 a.m. to 5:30 p.m.
Friday 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.
It will be closed for lunch daily from 1 to 1:30 p.m.

Sunset Drive in Beckley
The Sunset Drive location is led by Tammy R. Smith, DNP, FNP-BC, GNP-BC, and provides family and geriatric primary care services. Additional services are expected to be added.

Monday through Thursday – 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.
Friday from 8 a.m. to Noon
